Convention Watch Parties
On August 28, 2008, our Party will unite to nominate our candidate for president. That night, Democrats across the country will be coming together to watch and enjoy this historic moment. You were probably planning on watching the acceptance speech that night anyway; now, just host or meet up with some friends and you’ll be adding to the success of that night by helping to build a Democratic grassroots network.
Host an Event
Not every Democratic activist be in Denver on August 28. The Young Democrats of America is giving you the resources and support you need to bring the excitement of our Party's historic nominating convention into your home by hosting a Convention Watch Party. Interested? You don't need experience organizing or hosting events; this event is designed for new YDA members to get involved.
The first step is signing up. By registering your event with YDA, you'll have access to invitation and tracking tools and our support staff.

Find an Event
These events are happening nation-wide, coast to coast. If you can't host an event, be sure to search for events in your area. You were probably planning on watching anyway; by attending an event, you'll get to hang out with local young dems, have a good time, and help make a difference.
