Join us March 15-17 for the second annual YDA Faith and Values Leadership Summit. This year's summit will be held at Columbia University’s Union Theological Seminary in New York City. As part of the YDA Faith and Values Initiative, the event will bring together Young Democrats from around the country as well as many of the nation's top religious voices and political leaders to discuss the role of religion in elections and today's key issues at the center of faith and politics. Watch this video for a look at the great things that happened last year.
This year's speakers will include:
Rev. Derrick Harkins, former DNC 2011-2012 National Faith Outreach Director and pastor of 19th Street Baptist Church
Jessica Minnen, Jewish Theological Seminary
James Salt, Executive Director of Catholics United and frequent national news commentator
Mara Vanderslice Kelly, former Director of Religious Outreach for John Kerry's Presidential Campaign
Haris Tarin, Director, Washington DC Office, Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC)
