With just 3 weeks until the Election, we have an opportunity to make a real difference in close races across the U.S. That’s why we're so excited to announce the first annual YDA CoRDinated Weekend of Action!
YDA’s Council of Region Directors (CoRD) has come together to plan a 48-hour push across eight regions on October 17-18.
This Election will be the most consequential of our lifetime. From the White House to the State House, every race we support has an opportunity to create real change. Together, we will ensure that young voters are the margin of victory on November 3rd.
During our weekend of action, you’ll have an opportunity to impact over 20 competitive races across the country, including many races featuring Young Democrat candidates.
With healthcare on the ballot this November, we need Democrats like Sara Gideon (ME) and Doug Jones (AL) in the U.S. Senate. With climate change, immigration, and police reform on the ballot, we need women like Desiree Tims (OH-10) and Kara Eastman (NE-2) fighting by our side in the U.S. House. And with redistricting just around the corner, we have to support legislative candidates like Jonathon Hansen (WI) and Sammi Brown (WV) to ensure the next district maps are representative of all voters, not just the select few.
Much like the last meeting of YDA, volunteer shifts for each region will be hosted via Zoom. A schedule of volunteer opportunities has been posted here and will continue to expand over the coming weeks.
Take a moment to check out the amazing Democrats featured in our CoRDinated Weekend of Action, and feel free to email [email protected] if you have any questions.
